Lengthening The Jersey Lounge Pant

The Lounge Pant was designed during last year's summer lockdown and the length is great for warmer weather. But for the cooler winter months a bit more length is required.

In the Layers fashion story, the Jersey Lounge Pants have been lengthened to finish just above the ankle.

For both pairs shown, the pattern pieces for front and back were simply lengthened by 12 cm, as shown in the illustration. It is important to keep the original leg width rather than following the direction of the side seams. This would make the finished trousers too tapered.

Great for lounging or taking exercise!
