Colour Direction for Autumn 2017
13th September 2017

We all have our favourite colours, but if you're looking to update your wardrobe, here's a round up of the designer colour trends for the season.........

At last Black looses its stranglehold as the designer's favourite neutral.

This season navy takes centre stage, from tailoring to sheers. Pair with paler blues or camel for a fresher take on autumn.

As grey reaches saturation point in the most fashionable wardrobes, watch for the rise of camel through caramel to treacle shades. This warming of the palette will strengthen over the coming seasons.

This autumn is hotter than we've seen for a long time with the presence of bright orange, intense coral and the seasons must have scarlet red as the highlights to be seen in. Wear head to toe or mellow with camel to treacle shades.

Powder blue and sorbet pink are the key colours to add softness this season. Add some attitude by pairing with a neutral or adding a shock of scarlet or orange.

The way to wear colour now.... try blocks of unexpected colour with a clashing flash of orange, pink or red.
