In celebration of the extraordinary exhibition held at the V&A in London, this issue's pattern is inspired by Frida Khalo. The Pleated Skirt is based on the huipil from traditional Tehuana dress. Fitting sizes 21”- 39” / 54-99 cm and suiting a variety of fabrics, examples are given for various stylish interpretations.
We also visit Beckford Silks to understand more about the design and production of their luxurious fabrics and learn all the tips and tricks for sewing with velvet.
