I decided to do a variation on the Keira Fogden Dress pattern. I wanted an unlined casual linen coat for spring wear and came up with the idea of reversing this pattern. I examined all measurements on front and back pieces and decided I could cut the fabric with the faux placket on the front instead of the back. Worked a treat. Initially I did sew the full cuff as per the pattern and it was a pleasure to follow the instructions. When I tried it on it was just too much on my 5ft 1inch/50kg body and it was all about that beautiful cuff! I came up with reducing it to what you see here, had to retain what I could of that beautiful placket after I'd worked it.
