This is the Maker's Atelier pencil skirt that I made out of some spare upholstery fabric I had.
I've also made it in denim, black woollen fabric to wear with the Big Easy Top and another stretchy black fabric. It's such a good basic piece to have in the wardrobe, especially when worn with boots in winter and always looks smart whether with a floppy jumper or dressier blouse. As always, the Maker's Atelier patterns can be made numerous times because the quality of the paper is so good.
Fabric and Trim Suggestions
Suitable for all light to medium weight stretch or rigid fabrics.
The stretch skirt is shown in metalic PU and the orange trim skirt is in 4 way stretch.
Gold PU from Ditto - also available in a silver colourway, this PU fabric is very easy to make up in the stretch version.
The woven skirt is a fine wool check.
