A simple silk top

Sometimes all you want is a simple top to pull-on and this interpretation of The Tie Detail Top is simple yet stylish.

To recreate this style, take The Tie Detail Top pattern and make the following alterations. At the centre front seam fold back the pattern piece by 2cm as indicated by the red line. On the sleeve fold back from point D to 2cm along the cuff edge, again as indicated by the red line.

Assemble the top as instructed for the tie neck option but stitch the whole of the front seam as one from neck to hem. The neck line, hem and cuffs can be finished with a simple small turn and stitched down or with self-fabric binding.
