Here is my first attempt at your bomber jacket in faux suede. To be honest, I was a bit concerned about making the bomber jacket as I wasn't entirely sure about finding and handling the cuffing element. I was lucky to find some elastic which matched a piece of faux suede I already had, so I thought I would experiment. I am really pleased with the outcome. This will look great with a dress. I am going to make another, slightly longer and am going to try some thicker fabric. I have a number of your patterns and love the garments I make. This one though, I was very unsure about, but I am delighted with the finished piece and it has already received compliments. I have even been asked where did I buy the jacket from! So, I am one happy dressmaker.
