This top is really straightforward to make and comfortable to wear. In order to make the channels for the ties, the pattern recommends pressing the channels first. I already had this fabric so gave it a whirl. The fabric didn’t want to hold the creases that I was trying to press in, so that made it a little bit more fiddly. Anyway I’m very pleased with the result.

I got this pattern for Christmas it’s a pretty fun make, the only hurdle is the drawstrings... this pattern requires 3m of drawstrings! I would have used ribbon if I had some in my stash. Of course I only found my bias tape maker AFTER I finished sewing.
