I made the hooded version and fabric @bygraziela_fabrics I added a lining to the hood black cotton jersey by @oddiestextilesco to give some body to the hood. I love this version using wide elastic in a modern take for cuffs and waistbands and will 100% be making more in the future.

I started the sweatshirt at the sewing retreat hosted by The Maker's Atelier and Claire Tyler in Brighton. The loose fit is perfect. My favourite parts are the cute cuffs. I'm really pleased with the shirt and wear it day and night.

I made the contemporary sweatshirt top. I’ve worn it so much I need to make another in black. It’s a brilliant but deceptively elegant pattern, I will be making many more !

Can’t decide what look I’m going for with this pullover jacket, but I love this @themakersatelier pattern and the colour of this light-weight waxed cotton. It’s a true brick red.
This is the hooded version of the contemporary sweatshirt and it’s a fantastic pattern to sew. I’ve made a few in knitted jersey, and this is my second in waxed cotton. Probably should have sized up, given it’s meant to be a showerproof outer garment, but I’m looking forward to wearing it in the April showers nonetheless.

Fabric and Trim Suggestions
Round Neck - medium weight jersey and sweatshirting fabrics.
Hooded - light to medium fluid jersey fabrics - avoid thicker sweatshirt fabrics for the gather details.
